Last June when the sun actually shone I had the privilege of creating the flowers for Liberty and Harrison’s beautiful wedding held at Elmore Court in Gloucestershire, a stunning 13th century manor house with stunning views over the Cotswolds and River Severn. Liberty was such a dream to work with, she had a clear vision of how she wanted the day to look and feel. Working together alongside Kirsten The Little Wedding Helper we created Liberty and Harrison’s dream day and lucky for us the whole day was captured beautifully by Naomi Kenton.
Liberty chose a palette of blush pink and ivory with soft sage greens, her bouquet was full of fluffy blush Peonies, big blousy scented Garden Roses teamed with delicate Sweet Peas, Astilbe and fragrant Stocks all set against a foil of sage green Eucalyptus and Dusty Miller Senecio. It was the perfect match for her super feminine Hayley Paige dress
The ceremony room looked stunning, meadow style arrangements lined the aisle leading you to an arch of flowers and soft draping. We added taller varieties of flower such as Larkspur, Delphinium and Anthirrinum. Its such a stunning room with a large bay window flooding the room with light.
The wedding breakfast was held in the Gilly Flower which was a cool haven, it was the hottest day of the summer! The guests were sat at long tables full of blush taper candles and over 25 metres of full floral runners. Each table setting had an iced heart biscuit from Bake My Cake and a calligraphy name card with raw silk ribbon from Flourish and Lace set upon gold rimmed charger plates from Prestige.
This masterpiece of a cake was also created by Emma at Bake My Cake. Rising from a meadow of flowers, it was a real showstopper.
I hope you enjoyed this beautiful wedding as much as I did.
