I find myself dreaming of long summer days a lot at the moment so I thought I would share this beautiful wedding from last summer with you. This is the wedding of Harriet and Chris who married at the stunning Priston Mill near Bath. It’s a favourite of mine to decorate. You can choose the mill or the barn – both are equally stunning.

Harriet chose a soft pastel colour palette of blush pink, powder blue, ivory and peach. With sweet scented stocks, Keira roses, sweet peas, astilbe, delphinium and nigella.

We were hoping for an outdoor ceremony but the heavens had opened on the morning of the wedding, I was going to decorate the outdoor pergola with flowers and foliage but it wasn’t to be! Good old English weather decided otherwise. So as a back up plan I bought along my urns and plinths to decorate the inside of the mill for the ceremony.

Ironically the sun shone all afternoon so their photographer Albert Palmer was able to take some stunning photographs.

A huge thank you to Albert Palmer for the stunning photographs.

Thank you for looking, Emma x
